Daily Trekking Tours

Aladaglar is a fantastic mountain range for trekkers, with it's deep long valleys, high plateaus, high altitude lakes and splendid flora.

While venturing high above, You will deeply feel the thin air and ıt's magnifence will soon refresh you by all means.

Here are some daily  trekking routes:

1.  Arpalık plateau - Teke Pınarı - Dipsiz Göl plateau. 2900mt.:

This trek  is situated at the northern sector of Aladaglar.

General evaluation: The trek is an easy scramble to Dipsiz Göl Lake.

Route description: Start from the Aladaglar Camping(1500mt.)  by jeep-4WD until Arpalık high plateu 2250m.  From Arpalık high plateau walk due to Tekepınarı pass to the Dipsiz valley. 

We’ll reach Teke Pınarı in an hour, and after hiking for 2 hours, you’ll be in Dipsiz Göl campsite, which is 15 minutes to Dipsiz Göl (Bottomless Lake). The lakeside is surrounded by 3 major summits: Çağılın Başı S. (3612 m.) on the left, Beş Parmak S. (3520 m.) in the middle and Koca Sarp S. (3570 m.) on the right.

In the spring months there is a loud stream after Teke Pınarı, which makes the scenery and the hike quite favorable. This route is the most popular hiking route of the region.. To return, take the same way back and you’ll be in Arpalık.

Time: 3 hours ascent. 2 hours descent.

Dipsiz Göl Trekking.

2. Cımbar Valley Right Side - Arpalık Plateau - Demirkazık Village:

This trek  is situated at the northern sector of Aladaglar.

General evaluation: The trek is an easy scramble to Cımbar Valley and Arpalık Plateau.

Route description: Start from the Aladaglar Camping(1500mt.)  by jeep-4WD until 

entrance of Cımbar valley and start walking. After about 15 minutes the valley will split into two, we should keep on the right side, then we’ll be on the shortest route to the Arpalık Plateau. After that point the valley narrows down and you also have to make a very easy 3 m. climb. This valley is an inspiration for climbers because of its 

beautiful rock structure. It also houses many different bird species.. After we finish the rocky valley, ascend slowly to the Arpalık Plateau on the right. After the plateau, take the walk path on the right down to Demirkazık Village.

Time: 2-3 hours ascent. 1-2 hours descent.

Cımbar Valley - Arpalık Plateau Trekking.

 Trekking in Emli and Parmakkaya valley.

3. Emli and Parmakkaya valley.

This trek  is situated at the southern sector of Aladaglar.

General evaluation: The trek is an easy scramble to Emli and Parmakkaya Valley.

Route description: Start from the Aladaglar Camping(1500mt.)  by jeep-4WD until 

Sarımemetler plateau. We start walking and take the dirt way that goes into the 

forest. There starts one of the most beautiful hiking routes in Aladağlar. Hike 

through this way inhaling in the heavenly refreshing scent of the juniper trees.

At the end of the forest, follow the path for a little.  This path will take us 

to Koca Dölek. Reaching Koca Dölek from Sarımehmetler takes up about 2 hours.

After that, we continue to Parmakkaya valley. We hike back from the same route. 

Time: 3-4 hours ascent. 2-3 hours descent.

4. Karagöl Lake 2900mt. - Maden Valley

This trek  is situated at the northern sector of Aladaglar.

General evaluation: The trek is an easy scramble to Maden Valley and Karagöl lake.

Route description: Start from the Aladaglar Camping (1500mt.)  by jeep-4WD until 

Çiçekli Boyun, 2100mt. After that we start to trekking for Karagöl from here. We will walk in Maden Valley. In about 2,5 hours we will see Karagöl lake. Also very popular this trek for bird watchers. When we are trekking on the dirt way of Maden (chromium mine, it was 35 years ago) we will hear very ofen cry of bird, Caspian snow cock. Many bird watchers come here just for see to Caspian snow cock.

Time: 2-3 hours ascent. 1-2 hours descent.
